Let's go back in time, back to 2005. A teenage boy had somehow convinced his parents to buy a PS2 game that he'd read about in the Official Playstation Magazine (remember that anyone?) that had recently released. The game? God of War.
From that point, a keen interest arose towards Greek mythology which expanded into a journey down the rabbit hole into the multiple pantheons from cultures across the globe. This fascination remained for a number of years, God of War 2, 3 and Ascension? Completed it mate. However, as this boy aged like a mouldy cheese into adulthood, his passion for mythology and gaming started to fade.
Now, it's 2018. A fully grown, self sustaining man see's on the internet, a game called... God of War - a reboot of the series he once loved like a young girl loves her plastic high heels (I have a daughter), plays the absolute hell out of it. This masterpiece once again, relighting the fire that had burnt out like a Charmander's tail caught in heavy rain.
